I have been involved in working with time since 1997, when I became interested in relating images to sound, and music in particular. At that time, the exploration led me to experiment in collaboration with my father, and he was my principal guide in the search to break through the boundaries that delimit each technique. During these early experiences with light and time, we worked with deformations of green and red LED laser lights which we then mounted on a geared motor in order to achieve movement in images. Light interested me then for three of its aspects: its intangible quality, its potential for movement and its link with time. These three factors, manifested early in my educational formation, in addition to my fascination with space all continue to be relevant today.
